Progressive Mixers

Similar to minimal mixers, it features one dial for water temperature and pressure. The difference is you operate the mixer in one right-turn motion to control both.

Turning the mixer will move from cold low-pressure water to cold high-pressure water. At about a half-turn, the mixer will stay at high pressure and begin to warm. As you continue to turn, it will move to hot.

For something more classic and familiar, chrome or matte black bathroom tapware is appealing for the opposite reasons: chrome is high-shine and effortlessly versatile, while matte black is lustreless yet striking.
