Where we're sitting at the moment is an extension on a 100-year-old Californian bungalow.
We've restored it, and we've kept it all in its original condition, and the extension is a little bit different, probably a little bit more contemporary.

By the time we did this extension, you had brought out the gunmetal, and we really fell in love with that. We have a lot of black finishes, and we just thought that the brushed gunmetal would work really well as a bit of contrast.
It feels quite spacious. We've got a lot of marble and natural stone in this area, from the dining table to the kitchen bench.
And I think the favourite space for me is actually our master ensuite.
We chose brushed brass for our master ensuite. We've got a lot of marble in there, and it really kind of just brings a little bit of warmth.
I think from the street people wouldn't expect what you would see in this house.
I used to work in management consulting and did a lot of strategy work. I think moving into the building industry, it is really rewarding because you've got something that you see at the end of the day.
